In September 2015, it was brought to our attention that we could help with a solution beyond our traditional customers. We were contacted by a company working to get the wheelchair lift fixed for a young man with muscular dystrophy. The wheelchair lift was essential to provide the young man the mobility he was accustomed to. Since he was not able to get the part needed from the original manufacturer overseas, and other options only added to delay and expense for the family, Rockford Ball Screw was contacted to help. With the help of Motion Industries (Mount Vernon, IL) and Robert’s Ball Screw Repair (Leslie, MI), our donated ball screw was able to bring mobility to a young man at no expense to his family.
